Before SDL leaves 502 W. Main, we capture every room, every piece of original millwork, every architectural detail of the 112-year-old Carnegie — a permanent walkable record for SDL, your donors, and the next 100 years of Owosso historians. Plus the new Oliver Street building when you're ready.
A once-in-a-century transition.
SDL's move is fundraising-funded, not tax-funded. The window to capture the original Carnegie interior closes when you walk out.
A Carnegie Library
Built with a $20,000 Andrew Carnegie grant. After the move, ownership returns to the City of Owosso.
A Late-2027 Move
SDL purchased the Oliver Street building and could leave 502 W. Main as early as late 2027.
A Capital Campaign
The relocation is fundraising- and grant-supported. A digital twin is one of the strongest visuals for a major-gift donor or grant reviewer.
An Accessibility Story
The current building isn't ADA-accessible. A digital twin lets every patron — including those who can't physically visit — explore from any browser.

3D Capture
A full Matterport digital twin of the Carnegie at 502 W. Main, plus HDR photography and FAA Part 107 drone aerials. Once construction wraps on the new Oliver Street building, we capture that too. Yours forever — assets transferred to SDL on delivery.
Delivery & Hosting
We build your custom Showcase by Binzey delivery page and host the tour on our infrastructure for the first 12 months at no extra cost. Embed the tour anywhere on mysdl.org with one share link — no Matterport subscription required on your end.
